Silk duvets are breathable and regulate body temperature by insulating against excess heat and cold. Silk has a substance called sericin, which is resistant to mites and bacteria, therefore it is especially recommended for people suffering from asthma, bronchitis, eczema, skin irritation or allergies. Our silk comforters are filled with 100% natural, hypoallergenic long-staple silk, hand-stretched layer upon layer and carefully hand-stitched to prevent movement of the silk interior. Hand stitching, rather than machine stitching, is used to avoid pressing the silk inside and to keep the filling soft and fluffy. Our comforters are perfect for year-round use.

Care instructions

It is recommended to store the silk duvet in a storage bag when not in use. To maintain the healthy properties peculiar to silk, do not wash the duvet, either by hand or in a washing machine, just air it twice a year. And if the outer fabric of the duvet gets stained, apply a soft cloth using detergent and water to clean the area. Always use duvets with duvet covers.
